Job summary

Chamberlain University is seeking a Part-Time Visiting Professor to inspire nursing students and help them achieve their educational and career goals with a flexible schedule and strong mentorship.

You will teach clinical and didactic content, provide supervision and evaluation, collaborate with other faculty and staff, and contribute to program development while modeling professionalism and customer service.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• 2+ years nursing practice experience as RN in the last five years.
• Illinois RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system and profession.
• Assumes responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.
• Plans clinical experiences for and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Evaluates and provides documented feedback to student on performance based on course objectives.
• Maintains current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies and expectations with assistance of agency staff.
• Delivers written assignments, tests and other course materials in a timely manner.
• Contributes to development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and the College.
