Forsyth Technical Comunity Clg is seeking a Part-time Clinical Instructor in Nursing to conduct face-to-face clinical teaching assignments in clinical settings with flexible hours, typically 6 am–7:30 pm. Salary will reflect experience and credentials.

The role requires a valid RN license, a BSN (or higher), and nursing/teaching experience; a Master’s degree and prior teaching in clinicals are preferred. Hours vary by rotation and department needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited college.
• Two years or more of nursing experience.
• Unrestricted RN license.
• Work experience and/or teaching experience in medical/surgical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Teach face-to-face clinical nursing sessions as assigned by the program coordinator.
• Maintain attendance and grade records and course documentation.
• Prepare bibliographies and reading assignments as applicable.
• Recommend supplies and equipment to the Department Chair.
• Design and deliver clinical instructional activities to maximize student outcomes.
• Provide timely feedback on student performance and progress toward learning outcomes.
• Mentor students and support clinical learning.
• Adhere to college policies and guidelines.
• Foster a welcoming clinical environment and collaborate with the team.
