Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to support the clinical launch of our new infusion centers in Naperville, Illinois. This part-time, in-person role (~8 hours per week) emphasizes patient care, safety, and operational excellence.

The NP must hold an Illinois license, have at least 2 years in outpatient or infusion care, and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient or infusion-based care experience.
• Strong clinical judgment; IV therapy experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Current and unrestricted NP license in Illinois.

Responsibilities

Role Overview: Infusion Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support the clinical launch of our new infusion centers. This part-time (approx 8 hours/week or 1 day/week) in-person role is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and support through the launch of our new centers. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and operational excellence.

Location: In person in Naperville, IL

Clinical Responsibilities

• Ensure effective communication with patients across all aspects of their care (scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, etc.)

• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure effective delivery of care through order clarification, patient status, and plan of care communication

• Resolve clinical escalations, in accordance with policies and procedures

• Prescribe select medication in accordance with patient needs and clinical protocols, evidence based standards, and organizational policies

Quality & Compliance Responsibilities

• Onboard new Medicare patients, completing establishment calls and documentation

• Ensure clinical quality & compliance across region through clinical supervision and oversight, chart auditing, and Letters of Medical Necessity
