Job summary

Universal Health Corporation is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner in West Point, VA to join our post-acute care team. This role focuses on coordinating patient care, performing rounds, and supporting physicians in delivering high-quality care.

The position offers 2–3 days per week with flexible start times. We provide training, shadowing, and Medical Director oversight to ensure you can deliver compassionate, compliant services to our patient population.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, ICU, or hospitalist exposure preferred.
• DEA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and the DON about patient care.
• Conduct patient rounds and assist in scheduling tests.
• Record daily visit notes in EMR in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records related to professional services and billing.
• Follow bylaws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
