Job summary

Milan Laser in Danbury, CT is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our laser hair removal team. The role involves delivering safe, effective treatments, patient education, and strict adherence to medical protocols in a clinic setting.

Schedule is 2 days per week (Wednesday and Thursday) totaling 19 hours. Pay is $70.00 per hour plus a monthly bonus, with opportunities for professional growth and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current NP license in good standing with active certification.
• State-specific requirements may include AGPCNP-BC or AGNP-C where applicable.
• Strong patient-care, communication, and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform laser hair removal treatments following medical protocols.
• Educate clients on pre/post-treatment care to ensure safe results.
• Document treatments and maintain medical records.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for safe client flow.
• Maintain a clean clinical environment between treatments.
• Discuss progress with clients and suggest additional areas.
• Encourage reviews and referrals through excellent service.
• Support scheduling and patient records.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and room prep.
• Perform minor maintenance of laser equipment.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet clinic goals.

As a Laser Hair Removal Provider, you will deliver safe, effective treatments while helping clients build confidence and achieve long-term results. Your Ability to Make a Difference:

• Clinical Care: Perform laser hair removal treatments according to medical protocols and safety standards. Complete pre-treatment setup, operate laser equipment, and perform daily equipment checks.
• Client Education & Influence: Educate and guide clients on treatment plans, expected results, and pre/post-care. Reinforce progress and recommend additional treatment areas based on client goals and outcomes.
• Client Experience: Deliver a professional, welcoming experience where clients feel informed and confident. Personalize treatments, anticipate client needs, and encourage rebooking and reviews.
• Clinic Operations: Prepare treatment rooms, flip rooms between clients, and maintain clinic cleanliness. Follow operational standards including opening/closing tasks, inventory, and equipment readiness.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with clinic teams to support daily operations and clinic sales goals. Communicate scheduling updates and model Milan’s standards of professionalism.

Position Responsibilities:

• Document treatments accurately and maintain compliant medical records
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment to ensure safe and efficient client flow
• Maintain a clean, professional clinical environment between treatments
• Discuss treatment progress with clients and recommend additional treatment areas when appropriate
• Encourage client reviews and referrals through excellent service
• Support daily clinic operations including scheduling, confirming appointments, and maintaining client records
• Assist with opening and closing duties and treatment room preparation
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with clinic leadership and team members to support clinic goals and client satisfaction

Requirements:

• Current applicable Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in good standing, along with active national certification as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) is required
• For Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Oregon, South Dakota, South Carolina, and Washington: Current applicable Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in good standing, along with either active national certification as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or a Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-BC or AGNP-C), is required
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care and client service
• Strong communication skills and the ability to educate clients clearly and confidently
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and clinical protocols
• Interest in the aesthetics industry and helping clients achieve confidence-building results
• After completing training, ability to support onboarding and training of new providers
