Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking a part-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures using gamma cameras, inject radiopharmaceuticals, and prepare exam rooms while communicating with patients.

You'll hold an Associate Degree or equivalent, ARRT NM or NMTCB CNMT, and BLS, and you'll join a team that prioritizes patient care, safety and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 1 year related experience.
• Current ARRT (R) NM or NMTCB CNMT certification.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing multiple types of gamma cameras, injections with proper technique.
• Perform IV puncture, and administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV when indicated.
• Prepare exam room, obtain informed history, and position patient.
• Explain examination method to patient and obtain consent when necessary.
• Select imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.
