Job summary

Shamley School in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Part-Time Noon Aide to assist students in the lunchroom and on school grounds. The role runs 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 2 hours per day.

Starting immediately, you will help maintain safety, support behavior, and escort students between areas. Requires high school diploma or GED (preferred) and an 18+ age, plus fingerprint clearance. Apply with the school.

Qualifications

• Counsel and/or intervene with students to ensure acceptable behavior.
• Report observations and/or incidents relating to students to appropriate school personnel.
• Respond to emergency situations to address safety concerns.
• Escort students to and from classrooms.
• Assist students in lunchroom and/or school grounds.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks (clean up spills, floor, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide safety and assistance to children in lunchrooms and school grounds. This position is .25 hours (2 hours a day from 11:30-1:30 Monday-Friday)

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 1. Education equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED preferred

4. 4. State of Arizona Identity Verified (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Ability to use equipment such as walkie talkie, brooms, mops or related items.
• Ability to enforce school and/or District rules, regulations, policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with students, parents and staff
