Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the night shift (7 PM–7 AM) in the Kahn 3 Medical Step Down Unit. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to care for patients with a range of injuries and illnesses, monitor status, administer medications, and document care.

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses, educate patients and families, and help develop and adjust care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• BSN preferred; ASN must pursue BSN within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate health care records and reports.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient nursing care with the team.
• Record vital signs and medical information.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning.
