Job summary

Atrium Health Union West in Matthews, NC is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. This 24-hour-per-week role involves two 12-hour shifts, 7p–7a, with a pay range of $38.20 to $57.30 per hour and benefits eligibility.

The RN will provide bedside care, participate in quality initiatives, and ensure safety and accurate documentation in the EHR. Requires RN licensure and BLS, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) of use.
• BLS certification; telehealth considerations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Uphold a culture of safety and effective team communication.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Maintain timely EHR documentation and participate in professional development.
