Job summary

National Health- White Oak Group is seeking an Environmental Services Laundry Aide in Lancaster, SC for part-time night shifts. You will operate laundry machines, sort and distribute linens, and help maintain sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with facility requirements.

The role requires basic high school education, physical fitness, and reliability to follow instructions and work with team members in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate preferred.
• Good physical health.
• Sense of responsibility.
• Experience in washing or laundry activities and use of laundry supplies preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and understand the importance of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to cooperate with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Collects and sorts soiled linens.
• Operates washers and driers using established formulas and following instructions for operation of machines.
• Folds and counts dry linens to be put on shelves.
• Puts linens on carts and distributes to departments according to daily needs.
• Cleans and maintains washing and drying equipment.
• Informs supervisor when laundry supplies and equipment are low.
• Notifies Administration immediately of necessary maintenance of machine.
