Trinity Health's Saint Joseph Mercy Health System in Michigan seeks a part-time mental health clinician to provide direct clinical services in Emergency Services and medical units, including crisis intervention and counseling for patients and families. The role requires a Master's degree in social work, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or counseling and licensure.

You will document assessments, coordinate with physicians, and arrange referrals to appropriate services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or counseling.
• Licensure appropriate to the profession.
• Clinical and analytical skills to assess behavioral health needs.
• Ability to learn and utilize EHR and other software.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct clinical services, crisis intervention, and referrals.
• Support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse, and neglect.
• Educate patients and families on medical and mental health issues.
• Assist ED staff with complex patient assessments using crisis techniques.
• Document services and maintain records.
• Collaborate with Patient Financial Services for insurance verification and pre-authorization.
