Mondelēz International in Virginia seeks a Part-Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer to keep iconic brands front and center in local retailers. You’ll stock shelves, build displays, take photos, and place orders via iPad to ensure products are in stock.

This role requires regular weekend availability, a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs (50 lbs occasionally). Previous retail experience is a plus, and mileage is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle and commute to a variety of store locations.
• Able to perform hard work in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 25 lbs (50 lbs occasionally).
• Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25-35 miles of Charlottesville, VA; secondary locations include Louisa, Orange, Gordonsville, VA.
• Schedule availability: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism and excellence.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to store teams and shoppers.
• Execute daily store visits following DSD Merchandising Excellence and capture display photos.
• Build and maintain relationships with store personnel to support execution and visibility.
• Order product via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions using Salesforce.
• Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with RTM plans.
• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by RTM for efficient coverage.
• Support seasonal sales and new product launches.
• Communicate store-level insights to RTM and management.
• Stay safe and compliant, including lifting and moving products.

A Part-Time Merchandiser Order Writer is a frontline force for retail excellence. As a Brand Execution Merchant, you’ll bring world-famous snacks like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy!, and Triscuit to life in-store - building relationships, stocking shelves, executing displays, and ensuring shoppers always find their favorite snacks right where they expect them. Your work delights consumers, drives results, and keeps our iconic brands front and center: perfectly placed, impossible to miss, and always in stock.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as you are the face of these iconic brands/owner of the biscuit aisle.
• Serve as the face of the company, delivering outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers
• Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos, via DMI
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel, such as backroom receivers and store managers, to support execution and visibility of our brands
• Order product via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for both shelf and display using Salesforce
• Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with your RTM-negotiated plans with the stores
• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage among your retail team and colleagues
• Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events
• Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and management team
• Stay Safe & Compliant, embracing the physical nature of the role – including lifting, bending, and moving product through a snack-powered hustle

Who is a good fit?

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which the person resides. (if does NOT service a military base store, use and unhighlight this one and remove bullet below)
• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid REAL ID driver’s license (issued by the state in which the person resides), U.S. passport, or federal ID. This role will service a military base facility where it is a federal requirement to have a valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID to access.(if DOES service a military base store, use and unhighlight this one and remove bullet above)
• Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stock rooms to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.
• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Charlottesville, VA
• Secondary locations: Louisa, VA | Orange, VA | Gordonsville, VA
• Schedule availability required: Monday | Tuesday | Friday | Saturday

Salary and Benefits

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 based on relevant experience
