Job summary

Mondelez International Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser/Order Writer to manage in-store execution for iconic brands like Oreo, Ritz, and Chips Ahoy!. You will travel to Temecula and nearby CA stores, stocking shelves, setting up displays, and placing orders via iPad to ensure products are in stock.

You’ll work with store teams to ensure optimal visibility, adherence to RTM plans, and timely promotions while maintaining high safety standards and vehicle readiness for daily routes.

Qualifications

• Must provide outstanding customer service in a retail setting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for store visits.
• Ability to drive to multiple store locations and complete daily routes.

Responsibilities

• Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism and positivity as the face of the brands.
• Serve store teams and shoppers with outstanding service and product knowledge.
• Execute daily store visits, capture photos of displays, and follow DMI guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel for execution and visibility of brands.
• Order products via iPad to keep shelves and displays in stock using Salesforce.
• Implement and ensure compliance with RTM-promoted displays and plans.
• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by the RTM for efficient coverage.
• Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events.
• Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to RTM and management team.
• Stay safe and compliant in handling products (lifting, bending, moving up to 25 lbs, etc.).

A Part-Time Merchandiser Order Writer is a frontline force for retail excellence. As a Brand Execution Merchant, you’ll bring world-famous snacks like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy!, and Triscuit to life in-store - building relationships, stocking shelves, executing displays, and ensuring shoppers always find their favorite snacks right where they expect them. Your work delights consumers, drives results, and keeps our iconic brands front and center: perfectly placed, impossible to miss, and always in stock.

• Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as you are the face of these iconic brands/owner of the biscuit aisle.


• Serve as the face of the company , delivering outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers


• Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos, via DMI


• Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel, such as backroom receivers and store managers, to support execution and visibility of our brands


• Order product via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for both shelf and display using Salesforce


• Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with your RTM-negotiated plans with the stores


• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage among your retail team and colleagues


• Support seasonal sales , new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events


• Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and management team


• Stay Safe & Compliant , embracing the physical nature of the role – including lifting, bending, and moving product through a snack-powered hustle

Who is a good fit?

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which the person resides.




• Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.




• Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).




• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stock rooms to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.




• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.




• Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Temecula, CA




• Secondary locations: Lake Elsinore - Murrieta, CA




• Schedule availability required: Monday - Sunday availability required. 6:00 AM Start Time

Salary and Benefits

Hourly compensation rate of $19.00/
