Comer Baptist Church in Comer, Georgia seeks a part-time Music Minister to lead worship, plan services, and grow a biblically grounded music ministry alongside the Lead Pastor.
The role entails about 15 hours/week, with flexibility for Sunday morning and midweek services, rehearsals, and volunteer coordination, plus ongoing ministry training opportunities.
We are seeking a part-time Music Minister to lead and oversee our music ministry, helping our congregation worship God through joyful, theologically rich, Christ-centered singing. The Music Minister works closely with the Lead Pastor as a ministry team, helping disciple the church through our weekly gatherings.
This role can also be a training ground for someone who wants it. If you sense a call to ministry and want to grow deeper in it, the Lead Pastor would love to invest in you through sermon reviews, reading together, conferences, and hands‑on involvement in the broader work of pastoral ministry. If your calling is to music ministry specifically, that is just as welcome. We would be glad to have a faithful worship leader who loves the local church, wherever you are in your journey.
About 15 hours per week, with flexibility. Includes Sunday morning and Wednesday night services, a weekly rehearsal, planning and preparation, and volunteer coordination. Limited paid Sundays off each year.
