Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent professional experience with demonstrated ability to teach college-level courses.
• Demonstrated successful teaching of post-secondary students.
• Knowledge of repertoire appropriate for post-secondary students in their area of expertise.
• Professional experience as a performer on their major instrument for at least 3 years at regional or national levels.
• Understanding pedagogical practices particular to their instrument; regional reputation as teacher/performer.
• Evidence of innovative pedagogical techniques and publications or recordings may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach individual, one-on-one music lessons to undergraduate and graduate students.
• Provide lesson instruction for voice, piano, guitar, or related instruments associated with band or orchestra.
