Job summary

Ensemble Schools is seeking experienced part-time instructors to teach guitar, voice, piano and drums at Music House School of Music locations in Lenexa, Prairie Village, Overland Park and Lenexa, KS.

Instructors should have at least 1 year of teaching experience, strong communication skills, and be comfortable with technology. Compensation ranges from $24 to $28 per hour with health benefits options and a 401K after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music education or performance is preferred.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience.
• Performance experience in both an individual and ensemble setting.
• Excellent communication skills (writing, speaking and listening).
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient using technology including computers, mobile devices and online apps.
• Appreciation for punctuality and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Instruct guitar, voice, piano and drums to students.
• Teach in-person lessons primarily during M-Th 3-9pm and Fri 3-7pm.
• Adapt teaching methods to individual students and group settings.
