Job summary

Aims Community College in Colorado seeks a skilled music accompanist to support performing arts classes with live accompaniment. The role includes rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and accompanying small ensembles, collaborating with instructors and guest performers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong sight-reading, improvisation, and versatility across genres, with the ability to perform in diverse venues and settings on campus.

• Must be willing to perform in many different venues.

Minimum Hourly Rate: $28.93

Job Description

Job Duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Transposing skills
• Experience vocal accompanying specifically
• Some knowledge of healthy singing standards and techniques
• Familiarity with foreign languages
• Broad knowledge of the vocal repertoire and traditions of different styles and genres
• Willingness to work collaboratively with instructor and student to develop polished, coordinated performances for final recital.
