Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent with minimum of two years of housekeeping experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a multi-team, but also independently with self-motivation.
• Physically demanding role requiring lifting, bending, walking and standing.
• Attention to detail and ability to know what must be done without being told.
• Love for cleaning and eye for detail.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the Fort Pitt Museum facility, including bathrooms and common areas.
• Perform floor care: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet scrubbing.
• Dusting and wall care; maintain overall appearance.
• Support efficient operation of the facility; follow established procedures.
• Work weekends and holidays as required.
