Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents for code compliance (residential, commercial, industrial).
• Perform on-site inspections for new construction, additions, alterations, and permitted work.
• Coordinate inspection scheduling with City staff, contractors and permit applicants.
• Prepare and submit clear inspection and plan review reports.
• Communicate code deficiencies and required corrections professionally.
• Maintain records of inspections, reviews and correspondence.
• Provide code consultation and related services as requested.
• Meet established turnaround times for plan reviews and inspections.
