Job summary

myrvla is seeking a Part-Time Multilingual Learning (MLL) Teacher in Seattle to support English learners in developing their academic skills. The teacher will collaborate with general education staff to ensure compliance with MLL programming.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field and a valid Washington State Teaching Certificate. This position offers an hourly rate of $35–$60/hour with flexible part-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field is required, Master’s preferred.
• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with an ELL, ESL, or Bilingual Education endorsement.
• Experience working with multilingual learners in K–12 public school settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide small group and/or push-in support for multilingual learners.
• Design and deliver scaffolded lessons aligned to English Language Proficiency standards.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate language supports.
