Job summary

Total Facility Care in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a part-time janitor to perform morning cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and basic facility upkeep.

You will operate standard cleaning equipment, manage time independently, report repairs, and ensure security after hours. A high school diploma or GED and legal right to work in the United States are required; E-Verify is used.

Qualifications

• Handle basic cleaning tasks and other janitorial work.
• Able to use basic cleaning equipment.
• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment, including a backpack vacuum.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Cleaning and stock restrooms.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
