Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian in Columbia, SC (including Lexington, Chapin, West Columbia, Elgin and surrounding areas) to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes. This flexible role supports work–life balance with 2–5 day-per-week options and ongoing mentorship from our network of veterinarians.

The successful candidate will hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS), have a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Deliver veterinary care while practicing in clients’ homes, prioritizing patient comfort and family communication.
