Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking a Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian to deliver compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in Nassau County and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes work-life balance, flexible scheduling, and community-based practice outside of a traditional clinic.

You will join a network of over 400 veterinarians and staff, enjoying onboarding, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 support center while practicing independently with support from leadership.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in the field.
• Deliver mobile veterinary services in Nassau County, NY and surrounding areas.
• Offer support and mentorship through Lap of Love’s structure while practicing independently.
