Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking a Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian to serve Charlotte, Waxhaw, Concord, Matthews, Huntersville, Monroe, NC and surrounding areas. This role emphasizes work-life balance, flexible scheduling, and meaningful hospice care for pets and families.

You'll join a compassionate network with mentorship and support while practicing independently in a mobile setting, delivering high-quality end-of-life care with empathy.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required and valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends and travel to multiple nearby areas.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Compassionate hospice and euthanasia veterinary care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Maintain flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with mobile visits.
• Deliver high-quality patient care while supporting families during difficult moments.
• Engage with a network of mentors and practice managers for ongoing support.
