Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division in Arnold, MO is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate to join our thrift store team. You will help provide great customer service, keep the store organized, and create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors.

You will greet customers, operate the register, restock, balance the till, and work with the team to meet daily goals. Training is provided, including paid register training and ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and process sales transactions accurately.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to support store goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately.
• Open, close, and balance the register as assigned.
• Restock merchandise and keep displays neat and easy to shop.
• Sort, prepare, and move merchandise to the sales floor.
