Qualifications

• Certified teacher or must qualify for Rule 10 approval through the Kansas State High School Activities Association.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to organize practices and coordinate with the head coach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach as directed with organizing and directing coaching staff.
• Collecting and maintaining physical examination and insurance release forms.
• Inventory and submit equipment needs; track and report losses.
• Plan and conduct practice sessions; help ensure proper team conduct on trips and during contests.
• Support the Athletic Director in recognizing athletes at season end awards.
• Maintain accurate rosters and records and ensure timely reporting of injuries.
