Qualifications

• Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Experience as a licensed clinician and/or prior teaching experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach marriage and family courses such as family therapy, couples counseling, child and adolescent psychotherapy, basic intervention skills, group skills, and other areas of training virtually, in-person, or in a hybrid format.
• Participate in the life of the department as required.
• Attend monthly department meetings virtually or in-person.
• Assist in selection processes of new applicants to the MFT program.
• Participate in the curricular development and assessment development of the MFT Program.
• Contribution of expertise and knowledge to the department, university, and local community, as well as contribution to the holistic development of MFT students.
• May be needed to work at alternative Regional Campuses or Sites.
• Note that this position can potentially include administrative roles such as Department Chair, Program Director, or Director of Clinical Training, with responsibilities commensurate with those titles.
