Job summary

TJX Companies in Fairfax, VA is hiring a Retail Associate to support customer experiences on the sales floor and assist with day-to-day store operations.

You will ring up purchases, promote loyalty programs, maintain store standards, and participate in safety and recovery duties while upholding company policies. Previous retail experience is a plus, and a flexible schedule is required.

• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

This position has a starting pay range of USD $14.50 to $15.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
