The Merchandiser is responsible for timely stocking and product handling of all GLWAS merchandise shipped to assigned retail store accounts. This position works with store‑level personnel to ensure effective placement of shelf products and in‑store displays, assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and locations. The Merchandiser must demonstrate a professional demeanor by dressing and grooming appropriately, keeping the vehicle clean and organized, and maintaining adequate P.O.S. and other sales materials. This is a part‑time position working up to 29 hours per week with daytime hours varying by schedule Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend hours may be required based on holiday schedules and business needs.
The position operates in the field with daily travel, driving in all weather conditions. Physical demands require frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and climbing throughout the day. Lifting, stacking, moving, and rotating items without handles that weigh up to 50 pounds is required. Pushing and pulling carts with up to 100 pounds of force and operating warehouse equipment may also be needed.
