Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to work across multiple Florence area locations, maintaining inventory and merchandising greeting cards and related products. You will manage displays, organize backroom areas, and coordinate with store staff to ensure timely restocking.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; the role emphasizes reliability, accessibility to transportation and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Lift up to 40 pounds with/without accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation
• Access to reliable internet for communications
• Able to learn and use company tablet for training/tasks
• Occasional weekends and holiday scheduling

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and organize product orders in greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Display products to maximize visibility and maintain inventory
• Keep backroom areas organized and up-to-date
• Communicate with management about service or schedule questions
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays
• Assist with store resets and minor fixture work as needed
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company tablet
• Work independently and as part of a team
