Job summary

The Merchandiser in Downtown Indianapolis will present products to attract shoppers at our customer retail locations, following planograms and maintaining shelf discipline. You will move products from back rooms to displays, rotate stock, create and place point-of-sale materials, and build positive relationships with store personnel through proactive communication and dependable, safe procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and programs.
• Physically moves products from backroom to display areas.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials and rotates stock.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging product and managing pallets/containers.
• Builds positive relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up and proactive communication.
