Job summary

Jacent Strategic Merchandising is seeking a Merchandiser to be on the front lines in more than 17,000 stores, placing products, building displays, and collaborating with store personnel in your own community. This role offers daytime hours, a predictable schedule, $15-17 per hour, 8–10 hours per week, paid training, mileage and travel time between stores, cell phone reimbursement, and advancement opportunities.

Reside within 20 miles of South Hill or Emporia, VA.

Qualifications

• Self-starter who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
• Comfortable in changing environments.
• Meet physical requirements (standing 3-8 hours; lift up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communicator and ability to build relationships with business partners.
• Resides within 20 miles of South Hill or Emporia, VA.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating relationships with in-store management.
• Executing merchandising resets.
• Building retail displays.
• Merchandising impulse items on clip strips & J-hooks.
