Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser based in Fort Myers to support afternoon/evening shifts and flexible schedules. You will replenish and merchandise Coke Florida products at designated accounts and serve as the primary company representative in stores to stock products and maintain relationships across channels.

Responsibilities

Overview

Coke Florida is looking for a Merchandiser based out of our Fort Myers location. We’re currently looking for afternoon/evening shifts and schedule flexibility.

What You Will Do

As a Coke Florida Merchandiser, you will be responsible for replenishing and merchandising products at designated accounts. You will be the primary Coke Florida associate in customer accounts to stock Coke Florida products to meet consumer needs. You will maintain customer relationships across all sales channels.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain product displays and equipment placements in compliance with company standards
• Maintain appropriate product inventory levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts including shelf allocation and cold equipment
• Manage back stock inventory levels and trade breakage in assigned accounts
• Meet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution, and follow-up
• Maintain professional relationships with co-workers, customers and shoppers
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets and point of sale, ensuring account meets merchandising standards
• Ensure proper face and spin of products per applicable standards
• Conduct store surveys
• Communicate account activities, including equipment service needs, to appropriate parties
• Maintain merchandising standards while rotating products in designated accounts
• Organize backroom inventory in an orderly manner
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, sales floor, and shelves
• Transport, replace, and maintain point of sale advertising as appropriate for account
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance; work overtime as assigned
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws
• Identify and report any unsafe working conditions
• Comply with dress code or appearance/grooming standards
• Work shifts and schedules as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during employee working hours
• Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product (certification as required)
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must have and maintain current vehicle liability insurance, as specified by company
• Driving record with no major moving violations in the last three years
• 1+ year previous sales/merchandising experience
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Excellent planning and organization skills
• Ability to use and understand mobile applications
• 1+ year working under minimal, or no supervision

Additional Physical Requirements

• Ability to repetitively lift, carry and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds while kneeling, squatting, and bending
• Ability to push/pull manual transport equipment (e.g., pallet jack) with product loads
• Ability to read information in various print sizes
• Ability to stand up to 8–10 hours and walk up to 4 hours per day
• Ability to work in a hot/humid indoor environment
• Ability to use an audio headset to listen to directions in English
