MSC Industrial Supply Co. in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Merchandise Selector (Part-Time) to manually select products for orders and prepare them for shipment. Flexible start times between 7:30am and 10:30am, 4 to 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Compensation starts at $18.75 per hour, with pay determined by location and experience. Join a fast-moving distribution center and contribute to accurate order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to meet customer needs.
• Valid state driver's license where required.
• Internal certification to drive powered equipment within set timeframes.
• Internal certification to pick DOT-regulated items, if required.
• Physical requirements to perform essential job functions (standing, lifting up to 75 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick and count items from bins, flat stock and racks to fill orders.
• Load, unload and move product by hand, tote or skid.
• Verify products using item numbers, descriptions and quantity; inspect for damage.
• Batch orders and assign packing slips to pick product to totes via RF scanning.
• Operate basic and advanced powered equipment (pallet jack, forklift, turret truck, order picker).
• Cross-train in other departments to support business requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines, meet productivity and quality expectations, and participate in Work Clean.
