Job summary

Hawaii Behavioral Health is seeking a Mental Health Professional (Pre-Licensed) to provide behavioral support services to youth and families across the islands. This part-time position emphasizes evidence-based therapeutic services, case management when appropriate, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and at least one year of mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the behavioral or mental health field.
• Must be able to transport clients.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for youth using a person-centered, strengths-based approach.
• Collaborate with families and youth on issues affecting emotional/mental health.
• Document all therapeutic services in an electronic health records system in a timely manner.
• Utilize digital tools like Microsoft Outlook and Teams for communication, scheduling, and collaboration.
• Manage your own caseload and tailor services to each youth’s needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
