Job summary

Centurion Health in Maryville, MO is seeking a part-time Mental Health Registered Nurse to care for incarcerated patients at the Maryville Treatment Center. The RN will perform health assessments, administer medications, provide patient education and coordinate with doctors, behavioral health professionals, and correctional staff.

Qualifications include MO RN license, Associate's Degree, CPR/BLS certification; psychiatric nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license required.
• Associates Degree required.
• Specialty training in psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Must be actively certified in CPR and BLS.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Conduct health assessments, administer medications and treatments.
• Provide patient education and document care.
• Coordinate with doctors, behavioral health professionals, and correctional staff; lead group classes as needed.
