Job summary

Chamberlain University in Atlanta is seeking a Part-Time Visiting Professor to inspire nursing students and provide clinical and didactic experiences with a flexible schedule and strong mentorship.

You will lead mental-health nursing content, supervise clinicals, and evaluate student performance while collaborating with staff to advance education and patient care opportunities. A Master’s in Nursing and Georgia RN licensure are required, with 2+ years of nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with high level of initiative and prudent judgment.
• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching, and service to the College, community, health system and profession.
• Plans clinical experiences for and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Evaluates and provides documented feedback to students on performance based on course objectives.
• Keeps course coordinator informed of student and agency issues and concerns.
• Works with college administration and faculty to improve operations and student satisfaction.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
