Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group in Joshua Tree, CA, is seeking a Part-Time Mental Health LVN/LPT to provide direct client care and medication administration in our crisis residential treatment setting.

The role requires an active California LVN or LPT license, CPR and First Aid, and at least one year of medication administration experience; inpatient mental health experience preferred. Friday and Saturday shifts, compensation $30–$35 per hour; benefits and CEU opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active, valid California LVN or LPT license (preferred: associate degree).
• Minimum of 1 year experience with medication administration.
• Inpatient mental health experience preferred.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification from a recognized provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care including medication administration.
• Order, prepare, and document medications per physician orders and confirm pharmacy deliveries.
• Communicate important information to the team and document nursing notes.
• Write weekly client summaries as assigned and maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
