Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Western Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within scope, under supervision, to incarcerated patients and collaborate with a diverse team.

The role requires MO LPN license, IV, CPR and BLS certs, and a HS diploma or GED. Availability Tue 8h, Wed 8h, Fri 4h; 20 hours/week. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Missouri LPN license is required.
• IV certification is required.
• CPR and BLS certification are required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Mental health experience is preferred.
• Corrections experience is not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the LPN scope to incarcerated patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to physical, mental, and social needs.
• Support and lead group classes for incarcerated patients as needed.
