Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago is seeking a Spa Cleaning Attendant to maintain the Spa and Fitness Center public areas, treatment rooms and locker rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness. You'll stock supplies, greet guests, respond to inquiries, and help ensure a safe, orderly and inviting environment throughout the day, with a focus on discretion and guest comfort.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitary areas of the Spa and Fitness Center including public spaces, treatment rooms and locker rooms.
• Stock and replenish towels, amenities and supplies.
• Greet guests and respond to inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Monitor facility usage to ensure guest safety.
• Assist guests with changing instructions for treatments.
• Maintain guest lounge and deck areas in neat condition.
• Ensure lockers are properly checked in/out.
• Maintain overall neat, safe, and sanitary conditions.

Job Overview

Spa Cleaning Attendant are responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the Spa and Fitness Center's public areas, treatment rooms and locker rooms. Ensures all areas are properly stocked with supplies, towels and linen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitary areas including, but not limited to, cleaning the Spa facility, fitness center, locker rooms, showers, vanities, machines and equipment in accordance with federal, state, local and company standards.
• Acknowledges and responds to guests needs and inquiries in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Stock and replenish the facility with supplies and products, including, but not limited to clean towels, fresh water, drinking cups, etc.
• Monitor facility use to ensure guest safety.
• Instructs guests where they may change and/or dress for treatments and experiences.
• Maintain all guest lounge and deck areas in neat and sanitary condition.
• Maintain all spaces in a fashion that ensures neat, safe and sanitary conditions.
• Ensure that guests are properly checked in and out of lockers as necessary.

Experience
