Azura Memory Care of Verona is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Cook to provide nutritious meals to residents in a care-focused setting. You'll work 11:00 AM–5:00 PM every other weekend, preparing meals that fit residents' dietary needs while upholding food safety standards and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining area.

Prior kitchen experience helps but is not required; you should value teamwork and clear communication with staff and residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cooking or food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for serving seniors and working in a care-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and preferences
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including monitoring food temperatures
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
• Communicate with care staff regarding special dietary requirements
• Create a warm, welcoming mealtime experience for residents
