Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union in Port Orchard, WA is seeking a team member to provide basic counseling on available products, assist with opening and maintaining deposit accounts and loans, and process routine transactions in a high‑production environment.

You will work with members and colleagues to resolve issues, cross‑sell services when appropriate, adhere to regulations, and continuously develop familiarity with multiple banking systems while supporting shift coverage and training needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic counseling on products and services to meet member needs.
• Assist members with opening and maintaining deposit accounts and loans.
• Research and resolve basic account discrepancies and service requests.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and enhance member relationships through education.
• Understand and comply with relevant federal and institutional regulations.
• Support team members by sharing knowledge and best practices as experience grows.
• Ensure cash and negotiable instruments are handled properly and securely.
• Process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
