Job summary

WECU in Bellingham, WA is seeking a part-time Relationship Officer at the Sunset branch. You will handle member transactions, open and maintain accounts and loans, and promote credit union products through effective conversations.

You will build trust, meet sales targets, and provide Notary Public services while supporting branch operations and upholding WECU values. A high school diploma or GED is required with 1 year of related experience or 3 years in customer-facing sales; bilingual Spanish

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; minimum 1 year experience as a WECU Service Consultant or 3 years customer facing sales experience.
Relevant training and/or lending experience in a credit union, bank, or other financial institution preferred.
Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
Possess and/or obtain a Notary Public License.

Responsibilities

Assess member needs: Engage in meaningful conversations to understand member goals and recommend tailored product solutions.
Achieve sales targets: Meet individual and team sales goals and track referral activity.
Build trust and engagement: Follow up with members to ensure satisfaction and ongoing needs.
