Job summary

The Fountains of Cartersville is seeking Certified Medication Technicians (CMA) for medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

This part-time role is on 3rd shift (11p-7a) with hours Fri–Sun only. CMA certification, high school diploma, and state-approved CMA course required; PCA/CNA also accepted. Join a team that invests in residents’ well-being and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA certification.
• High School diploma is required.
• Complete State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Personal Care Assistant or CNA certification required.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to work in a senior care environment and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive relationship with residents, family and staff.
• Promotes and protects residents rights with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and completes required continuing education.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Documentation is completed clearly and accurately.
• Reports changes in resident condition to supervisor promptly.
• Operates equipment safely per training.
• Uses infection control precautions in all activities.
• Reports safety violations and follows emergency procedures.
