You will handle temperature- and time-sensitive specimens, maintain chain-of-custody, and communicate updates to staff. A clean driving record and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle in good condition.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and MVR.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication.
• Ability to safely transport biohazard and medical specimen containers per protocol.

Responsibilities

• Pick up medical specimens from assigned client locations along a designated route.
• Transport specimens safely and efficiently to Genesis Reference Labs.
• Maintain proper chain-of-custody procedures and documentation.
• Ensure specimens are handled according to temperature- and time-sensitive requirements.
• Communicate route updates, delays, or issues to laboratory staff.
• Provide professional, friendly service at all client locations.
• Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices.

Position Overview

As a Part-Time Medical Courier, you\'ll be responsible for collecting medical specimens from healthcare facilities throughout the Ft. Collins, Greeley, Loveland, and Cheyenne WY area and transporting them to our laboratory in Centennial, CO. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys driving and working independently while still being an important part of a larger team.

Schedule: Daily including weekends
Start Time: Approximately 5:00 PM
Route Duration: 3-6 hours
