AllCare Georgia is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Reynoldstown clinic, supporting primary and urgent care teams. This part-time role focuses on accurate intake, documentation, and patient-facing care to maintain smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates have MA training with CCMA/CMA/RMA/NCMA credentials, 1+ year MA experience, and strong customer service skills. The position requires OSHA/HIPAA knowledge and physical endurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; MA program graduate with CCMA/CMA/RMA/NCMA preferred.
• 1+ year MA experience; 2+ years in customer service.
• OSHA/HIPAA knowledge.
• Experience with intake, POC testing, specimen collection, and EKGs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clinical intake and documentation in the EMR (vitals, histories, med updates).
• Assist with exams and procedures; venipuncture and QC checks.
• Point-of-care testing with accurate documentation (Strep, Flu, COVID, HCG, UA, Mono).
• EKGs and administration of medications/injections per policy.
• Support discharge instructions and required documentation.
• Open/close duties and compliance checklists; verify demographics.

AllCare is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant who values clear workflows, strong clinic support, and a team that runs with structure and professionalism. This role is ideal for an MA who takes pride in accuracy, steady patient flow, and patient-first service - without constant chaos or unclear expectations.

Role Snapshot

• Schedule: Part-time (20 hrs a week)
• Setting: Patient-facing clinic supporting primary and urgent care

What You'll Do

You’ll support providers and patients end-to-end, keeping care moving efficiently and safely:

• Clinical intake and documentation in the EMR (vitals, histories, med updates)
• Assist with exams and procedures
• Venipuncture, specimen collection, processing, and required QC checks
• Point-of-care testing with accurate documentation (Strep, Flu, COVID, HCG, UA, Mono, etc.)
• EKGs
• Administer medications/injections per provider order and AllCare policy
• Support discharge instructions and required documentation

You’ll also help the clinic run smoothly:

• Open/close responsibilities and compliance checklists
• Check-in/check-out, verify insurance, confirm demographics in the EMR
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and manage supplies
• Schedule/reschedule appointments and complete follow-ups as needed
• Support training of new team members using established processes

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Graduate of an MA program with current CCMA, CMA, RMA, or NCMA.
• 1+ year of MA experience required, 2+ years preferred (hands-on clinical duties)
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Experience with intake, POC testing, specimen collection, and EKGs
• OSHA/HIPAA working knowledge
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a clinical setting
