Job summary

Carbon Health Ocean Township, New Jersey seeks a part-time Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, and NPs in urgent care settings. You will assist with triage, medical histories, and lab work while preparing patients for exams and treatments.

Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, performing lab tests, injections, and specimen collection, and maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms. You may also help with scheduling and patient records, and must be able to work 12-hour

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA certification from CAAHEP, ABHES or NCCA.
• BLS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, PAs, or NPs in urgent care patient care.
• Perform triage, take medical histories, and conduct lab tests.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, record vital signs.
• Administer injections and prepare exam/treatment rooms.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, and assist with minor procedures.
• Schedule tests and treatments, manage patient files.

Education
