Job summary

Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant in Connecticut. You will assist in examination and treatment, manage check-in and registration, measure vital signs, and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis under the supervision of an urgent care provider.

The role requires a High School Diploma ( Medical Assisting program preferred) and Basic Life Support at hire. Front desk or MA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of Medical Assisting Program preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Prepare patients for examination and take vital signs.
• Perform point of care testing as needed.
• Maintain medical records and charts.
