Job summary

The JOY FM is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant for a busy Urgent Care/Primary Care office in Georgia. Responsibilities include triage, vitals, injections, venipuncture, in-house testing, and pre-employment/DOT physicals. Weekend availability is required (2-3 weekends per month).

Certification is not required if you have a diploma/MA training program; minimum of 1 year experience preferred. This role emphasizes reliable patient care and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Certification not necessary if previously certified or have proof of diploma/MA training program.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and take vitals.
• Administer injections and venipuncture.
• Perform in-house testing including urinalysis and other point-of-care tests.
• Assist with Pre-Employment and DOT physicals and drug screen collection.
• X-ray imaging as needed.
