Job summary

Catholic Community of St. John the Evangelist and Blessed Sacrament is seeking a part-time Media Specialist.

The ideal candidate will manage social media, craft engaging content, and support communications efforts for the parish community. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree or have relevant experience in communications, social media, marketing, or journalism, with strong writing and speaking skills.

• Proficient user and developer of social media with excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Experience with WordPress is required; familiarity with Google/Gmail and Adobe Acrobat is preferred.

The successful candidate must be a team player, able to work independently, be detail oriented and have either a Bachelor’s Degree or experience in communications, social media management, marketing, and/or journalism. Applicant must be a proficient user and developer of social media and must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
